Have had this iron for a good few years at our second home and it has always worked very well. We are combining our two houses into one so this is now surplus to requirements.
Very early in its life it did get dropped and this has wedged the two green internal balls into the corners of the water chamber. I think they are for cleaning calcium deposits from the inside of the chamber but being in Birmingham, and having soft water, this is not a function that is missed.
